Sanofi signe un partenariat avec Cofely pour la réalisation d’installations de production et de distribution d’énergie en Europe et en Turquie


Paris, March 8, 2012. Three-year agreement to build energy production and distribution facilities in Sanofi's European industrial sites.

Sanofi (EURONEXT: SAN and NYSE: SNY) and Cofely- GDF SUEZ Energy Services, today announced the signature of an agreement to accelerate the implementation of a program for optimizing energy consumption in Sanofi’s industrial sites.

This three-year agreement covers the construction of energy production and distribution facilities in all of Sanofi’s European industrial sites, making use of innovative renewable energy technologies. The first projects will focus on the development of cogeneration and heat production units using biomass.

By controlling our energy consumption, we can truly enhance our competitiveness and improve the environmental performance of our manufacturing sites,” said Philippe Luscan, Senior Vice President of Industrial Affairs, Sanofi. “This gives a responsible business dimension to our agreement with Cofely that perfectly matches Sanofi’s culture and industrial vision.”
