Paris, March 8, 2012. Three-year agreement to build energy production and distribution facilities in Sanofi's European industrial sites.
Sanofi (EURONEXT: SAN and NYSE: SNY) and Cofely- GDF SUEZ Energy Services, today announced the signature of an agreement to accelerate the implementation of a program for optimizing energy consumption in Sanofi’s industrial sites.
This three-year agreement covers the construction of energy production and distribution facilities in all of Sanofi’s European industrial sites, making use of innovative renewable energy technologies. The first projects will focus on the development of cogeneration and heat production units using biomass.
